Never that many about .22 WMR Winchester Magnum Rimfire Bolt Action Model 1515-1516 Rifle from Anschutz, Germany. An Absolute CRACKER of a little round. These things have approx. the same energy and velocity 100 yards away as a standard sub-sonic at the muzzle. There’s not a lot wandering this country that would not drop on the spot at point blank!
18 1/8” (460mm) Barrel, Screw cut standard ½” x 20 TPI UNF ready for a sound moderator. (A ‘BOAT LOAD’ of new and pre-used options readily available here too). Stock pull measures to 14 1/8” (360mm) and combined gives an overall length of 36 ¾” (933mm). Scales register the bare weight at 5 Lbs 6 ½ oz (2.455 Kg).
Nice enough Strong Straight Grained Woodwork with some Dark Colour Contrast Stripes along its length. Raised Cheek Rest and Schnable Forend. Fully Adjustable Single Stage Trigger and Detachable 5 Round Magazine. Action is also factory machined with its scope mounting standard rime fire dovetail.
As said, this is a not that common a calibre rifle in any make let alone Quality like Anschutz. It SHOULD prove a lot of fun on those longer range rabbits and crows etc. Also even fox where licensing authorities are bright enough to sanction and allow.
