Model 1415-1416 Anschutz Bolt Action .22 Rim-Fire Rifle in Exceptionally Tidy condition for an older gun. Metal work is all still Original Deep Blued finish and woodwork is just as good. Some Nice Strong Grain Pattern with Colour Contrast and Chequering still clean and well defined. Schnable style forend and detachable 5 round magazine. The stock could well be Maple Walnut. That said I would guess stained as maple is generally lighter but this does not look like traditional Walnut. Could be wrong but it makes little difference. Its still nice enough regardless. Raised Cheek Rest and a Fully Adjustable Trigger as standard.
A couple of light marks to the very bottom. Both, no doubt, from a carry sling at some point given locations. ALSO the previous owner must have had a ‘thing’ for car body filler! Notice the over-sized bolt knob. This rifle came in with a BRNO Fox in .22 Hornet. They have a flatter ‘Butter Knife’ Bolt handle. NO doubt its still as original underneath but that too now sports a ‘ball’. Both will revert back to original with little more than a couple of good (CAREFUL) taps with a hammer. Then again just leave as they are.
16” (401mm) Screw Cut Standard ½” x 20 UNF. Stock measures to approx. 14 3/16” (360mm) and brings in an O/A length of 34 ½” (877mm). Scales register a nice light and compact 4 Lbs 12 ½ oz (2.173 Kg).
