Pre-used RIGHT Handed Model 1415 – 1416 Bolt Action .22 Rim-Fire Sporting Rifle from Anschutz, Germany. HOWEVER this is ANOTHER rifle offered up in a BRAND NEW replacement LEFT HANDED HIGH GRADE WALNUT Stock. This the Thumbhole Skeleton option.
The rifle also arrived with the original stock cracked through the wrist after a stumble in the dark.
Often left handed people have to shoot with standard R/H rifle stocks which are not always comfortable. I decided to put this back into working condition set into a TRUE LEFT HANDED stock. It puts the option out there for anyone needing to shoot from the left shoulder.
Another rifle in generally Excellent pre-used condition. This time with a full traditional ‘.22 Long Rifle’ format and original LONG 22 ½” (570mm) Screw Cut Sporting barrel.
Stock pull on this version measures 14 5/8” (365mm) and scales tip out at 5 Lbs 9 ½ oz (2.353 Kg) for the bare rifle as pictured.
Skip or Fox Cut Chequering. A thing I always think adds to a guns aesthetics along with the Solid Dark Rosewood Grip Cap.
Currently fitted with a push on oversize Black Rubber over sized bolt knob. However this is a little loose as its realistically meant to fit a much heavier full bore bolt.
Single Stage Fully Adjustable Trigger just finishes the high spec. of these great and iconic rifles.
The action is also pre-machined with a standard dovetail ready to mount a scope. Alternatively (and more common these days) night vision through to full Thermal imaging units.
