Original Vintage Long Range 7.62 x 51 NATO Bolt Action Target Rifle from Grunig and Elmiger, Switzerland. STILL in business and still producing some of the Best and Most Accurate Rifles available.
Top loading Single Shot format with no magazine. Match Grade, Fully Adjustable Trigger. Raised Cheek Rest and Height Adjustable Butt Plate.
A Strong, Tightly Packed Straight Grain from one end to the other Walnut Stock with decent Colour Contrast. Flush inlet Accessory Rail, currently fitted with Original Hand Stop. The left side of the action currently machined / fitted with a Target Dioptre Sight Dovetail at approx. 45 degrees. Unfortunately, I currently have no matching sight. There WILL be someone out there with one simply sat collecting dust. PLEASE DO get in touch if that is you. It will be fantastic to get this back up and shooting as originally designed. The Front Element Holder is held in place with a pair of grub screws. As such, easily removed should anyone decide to mount a telescopic sight / scope instead. However, to do so will require the action drilled and tapped to accept suitable bases etc.
In the interim I have contacted the manufacturer for any record / details they may have. Also asking about a suitable Rear Target sight. As and when any further information is available, I will update details.
