This was purchased toward the end of Covid lockdown, with nowhere to shoot other than inside a garage. As you might imagine, the ‘shooting bug’ stood little chance. With roughly 1/3 of the only (250) tin of pellets purchased left, you have an idea of use to date. The Overall Condition confirms that too. There is not a mark to be found on the gun. It even comes with Original Paperwork and Delivery Box. Where it spent its entire time once going to work resumed. He had a scope but removed it to put the rifle back in etc. and can’t find it.
14 ¾” (375mm) Semi-Heavy Barrel set to a Stock / Trigger Pull of 14 ¼” (362mm). Overall length comes in at 40 ¾” (1035mm) and a Bare Weight of 9 lb 5 oz (4.222 Kg).
A Hard-Wearing Beech Stock featuring Skip / Fox Cut Chequering. That, Nicely Accentuated with Scrolled Pattern Border Work. For Beech this IS one of the Prettiest Examples on Any gun that I have seen. Certainly, an Exceptional amount of Grain and Contrast for such. Definitely Right-Handed too. Especially with the Roll Over Cheek Rest. A shame they are not made for use from either shoulder given the action style. To ME, it would make WAY more sense.
Light-weight Aluminium FLUSH finished Cocking Under Lever. Fully Inlet to the For-End to give an Exceptionally clean finish. Standard Width Dovetail machined to the Action Top too. All ready to accept mounts and a suitable scope.
This offers a FARE saving considering the cost of Brand New today. Especially as you will be hard pushed to tell one from the other. Happy to include rings and a 3-9 scope too if needed.
The next bit will not apply to air rifles for most. However, if you shoot rifles it should be of interest:
