Higher end of the .22 Centre Fire category performances. This 22.250 calibre Bolt Action Sako Rifle is built on their CLASSIC and well loved M591 action.
For the age this is an EXCEPTIONALLY clean and little used example that is not far from new. It definitely falls into the category of yet another ‘Sleeper’.
Chequering is actually still sharp to the 14 ¼” pull stock. GOOD Grain Pattern along with ‘Tiger Stripe’ Highlights toward the Raised Cheek piece. With a little oil and elbow grease these would ‘jump’ even more.The heavier pattern with pistol grip as opposed to the straight hand options.
The 22 ¾” (555mm) barrel is threaded ½” UNF ready to attach a sound moderator. It comes in at an overall length of 42 ¼” (1070mm).
This is that clean even the blueing to the bolt handle shows zero signs of use.
As with all Sako rifles they are what they are. Well made and well sought after rifles with a great and well-deserved reputation. The bare rifle weighs in at 7lbs 5oz (3.32Kg).
