Older Style Model M Walnut Rifle Stock from a Steyr Mannlicher Sporting Rifle. Take a look at the pictures and its pretty obvious if this is the correct stock you need. The ONLY consideration being the correct Action size / length. Main Stock to Action Screw centres are at approx. 7” (178mm) centres. Check your rifle and if this matches it WILL drop straight in.
Generally EXCELLENT Condition considering the age these now are. Quite a Highly Decorative example, especially the front half. The rear with a Strong Straight Grain running the entire length and right through the grip. Original recoil pad still in place and Classically finished with Rosewood Forend Tip and Grip Cap. Final detail that ALWAYS sets a stock off for me is the Skip or Fox Cut Chequering.
New, IF I can still get hands on one, will be well over double the cost.
PLEASE bear in mind the prices on Replacement / Pre-used Gun Stocks reflect the COST in money as well as time. Guns have to be purchased, booked in, stripped down, pressure bearing parts destroyed, and the police notified. THEN photos taken, prepared and adverts posted of what is left.
I DO NOT DO this to ‘make money’. A lot of the simpler / older options are to allow you ‘die hard’ enthusiasts to continue in your own way.
