Original Specification Bolt Action Sako Model 75 Mk III Rifle in .243 Winchester. 22 ¼” (565mm) 100% ‘NONE ASSAULTED / UNMOLESTED’ (Still Original NONE Screw Cut Blued Barrel). ANYONE still out there (like me) not beholden to sound moderators this could well be for you. For those who insist it can always be screw cut to follow the flock.
A couple of Light marks to the 14 ¼” (363mm) Walnut Stock but nothing much and it IS a pre-used rifle. Though NOT much by the general appearance and condition. Metal work is all but as new, even down to the Bolt Knob itself. Overall length comes in at 42 5/8” (1083mm) and tips scales at a straight 7 ½ Lbs (3.042 Kg).
Chequering is still Sharp, Clean and Crisp to a Very Reasonably well patterned Deep Coloured Stock. The usual Palm Swell to help keep a superbly steady grip too, along with Raised Cheek rest. Sako ARE THE Best selling rifle in the UK. I agree they ARE excellent straight from the box too. However pre-used examples like this offer up WAY SUPERIOR value for money than new. They (to me) are a lump above what they should be.
