Sabatti Tactical Rifle STR in Long Range 6.5mm Creedmoor Bolt Action Target / Sniper Rifle. 1:8 Multi Radial Rifling to the 26” (660mm) Heavy Weight Match Barrel. Factory Screw Cut at 5/8 x 24 UNeF. The Original Muzzle Break IS also available, and I should have a couple of sound moderator options available in stock too. If nothing to suite I can EASILY order something. Stock currently measures 14 ½” (367mm) and brings in an overall length at 46 5/8” (1185mm). Weight is circa 13 Lb 7 oz (6.09 Kg).
That may be an ounce or two / few grammes out. My normal scales only run to 10 lb and for these types of rifles I usually drop the stock off. Weigh both and then add. However, this time around I tried a set of carcass scales that gave out a couple of different readings.
Full Spec. Tactical Grade Pistol Grip (UPG PAT PEND). None Slip, Fully Contoured Individual Finger Grip and matching palm position rear. Zero slip in use, regardless of hot, cold, wet and / or dry. Over-Sized High Capacity (10 Round) (Original Sabatti) Magazine Release Catch. Matching over-sized Bolt Knob too. Ensuring the most positive / easy use etc.
Stock is Adjustable for Cheek Rest Height as well as Trigger / Stock Pull length. Also, Foldable. Not entirely sure quite WHY or when the option would be handy. However, the facility is there so…
As per images, the Rifle also sports several Picatinny / Weaver Accessory Rails. The top running from the start / back of the action along the entire length of the Barrel Heat Shroud. Additional short option to the bottom of the Butt. The usual option there being a third adjustable leg to use in conjunction with a Bi-pod. As such ending up with a Tripod stand for PERFECT target alignment. SCIENCE tells us there IS NO STEADIER platform than that. Also, a pair of Side Mounted Rails circa 4 ½” (110mm) long. Currently fitted with a two-piece Bi-pod. Each side swinging / pivoting into position and with a Large / Heavy Grip Tactical Style None Slip Foot / Shoe.
NO reason to suspect this will not do exactly the same. As for the MRR Multi Radial Rifling its probably best to simply check online for yourself. There IS an ABUNDANCE of information.
From what I know the general consensus is a HAPPY one. Not only remarkably accurate but also extending the life / reducing the cleaning required. All contributing to a longer life for the rifle.
This example purchased by the previous owner brand new. JUST before Landmark / Military Ranges closed the door on any and all 6.5 calibre rifles. Whilst that fiasco continued, he retired from shooting. (YET ANOTHER bullied and cajoled into surrendering his certificates). Shortly after doing so the calibre ban has now been rescinded / removed so once again ‘GOOD TO GO’!
