Remington Official Special 2012 Edition Boy Scouts of America folding pocket knife. Company knifemakers apparently obtained the original tooling used at their original Bridgeport, Connecticut factory. They then perfectly and faithfully matched previous examples of this annual edition iconic collectors knife dating back to 1928. This authentic recreation features the original scout pattern layout with a 440 stainless steel 3 7/16” (62mm) blade. A bottle cap lifter, screw driver and can opener with a swivel lanyard loop. The jigged bone handles are also inlaid with the Boy scouts logo. The knife comes in its original presentation box with all paperwork, collector’s edition registration papers and Remington life time warranty card. At 3 ½” (90mm) closed up this makes an ideal pocket knife and finishes up just under 6” (150mm) overall when open.
