RCC FULL BORE SOUND MODERATOR.
Made in Sweden, RCC Sound Moderators for use on all ‘Standard’ Full Bore Rifles. This model is NOT Magnum Rated. If you need something suitable for any Magnum calibre, please get in touch to discuss options.
A Compact and Lightweight ‘Can’ these Swedish Sleeve Over Moderators measure approx. 7 7/8” (200 mm) and 1 ¾” (44mm) Diameter. Scales offer up a Total weight WITH thread adapter at 11 ½ oz (330g). It adds circa 4” (100mm) to the overall rifle / barrel length when fitted.
As with many designs coming onto the market, they come with a standard thread of 18x1mm Metric. You then order a suitable Stainless Steel thread adapter to convert to whatever suites your Rifle Barrel.
As such, technically interchangeable. However, in practicality, this is often problematic. Difficult to keep the thread adapter on the barrel and not in the moderator. Even with a thread lock given the heat generated. That said, the thread adapter does have a ‘nut head’ finish so CAN be torqued sufficiently to stay in place.

DO NOTE: Sending a sound moderator to a local Firearms dealer for collection will cost near enough the same as for a shotgun or rifle. You are also likely to incur a transfer fee from them too. My suggestion is to simply go direct to them and put in an order for things like these.
ANY and ALL Pre-used Sound Moderators I have should offer up perfectly acceptable performances. Certainly comparable to the equivalent model brand new. This Reflex T8 Compact is no exception. Given they are very likely to already be ‘carbonized’ internally there is every chance they will actually increase effectiveness. As with anything not brand new there is a chance they may well not last as long. However this IS reflected in the price. In reality, unless you are regularly spending hours on a range, there should be way over enough ‘life’ still there for the average shot.
The ONLY way to get maximum longevity is to dig that bit deeper and buy new. Happy to order those in where needed so just ask if you prefer.
