JUST MY LITTLE ‘BIT’, FOR WHAT IT MAY BE WORTH:

I ALWAYS RECOMMEND you buy as big a cabinet as you can. Jewellery. Valuables. Private papers. Surprise presents. ANYTHING you want to keep grubby fingers / nosey people away from. They always takes up any spare capacity.  You also usually end up with more guns than planned too!

HOWEVER, Occasionally people DO have a single gun and no REAL need for anything more than this. They ARE 100% police approved and ACCEPTED.

VERY HANDY if you travel with a rifle or shotgun a lot. Would not take a genius to fix this into a car boot for additional security when travelling. Equally a second holiday home situation where a single gun only might be wanted etc. OR SIMPLY where you have zero space or desire for anything bigger and more cumbersome.
