Model L81A1 Specifically Designed and Built Target Rifle in 7.62 x 51 Nato from Parker Hale, Birmingham, England. Seriously rare rifles to find these days and basically the same Action / Rifles as the M84 Range etc.
Anyone looking will likely already know the history of these rifles already. If not there is more than enough detail about how strong and ridged these specifically designed actions are.
Only real point to detail is that the barrel has been reduced from its original factory spec. of 28”. It is now a sightly more compact 24” (610mm). Also the muzzle worked to accept a none original front element holder. Other than that its basically full factory specification and likely to shoot every bit as well as with the additional 4 missing inches! (How us fella’s would all hope that was true).
Stock pull currently measures to 12 3/4” (325mm) which includes the single original ½” (12mm) extension piece. That makes a perfect template to make any more required. Overall the rifle measures up to 43 5/8” (1110mm) and tips in completely bare at 10 Lbs 7 oz. (4.735 Kg). As such next to zero concerns with recoil even if shooting all day long.
The stock is also fitted with a Flush Inlet Inverted T Shooting / Target Accessory Rail to the forend and this is a single shot rifle. I.E. no magazine and exactly as original design and spec. All of these Barrelled Actions are Fully Bedded with Devcon in the factory / production.
As per the images I also have in stock an original and correct Matching Set of Dioptre Target Sights. They can be supplied with the rifle at a discounted figure if purchased with the rifle and still available. For anyone wanting to mount a Rifle Scope a specialist base will need to be sourced. Possibly even machined specifically to fit. Same ‘finances’ apply.
