A GREAT improvement on the original options, especially where heavy / varmint barrel channels were used. Older versions could flex if not used properly and did cause negative comment online. However, I sold WAY MORE than enough to customers buying full packages. As I explained, ALL you needed to do was mount the rifle correctly. Even with a bi-pod fitted and laid prone. I had zero comment or complain but Hogue remedied the perceived problem and brought out these. The ‘Lightening’ version.
Way more rigid and with an Integrated Factory Bedded Aluminium Chassis. As such now near 100% Stiff and unyielding.
This is a Plain Black version to suit a standard Sporting Profile Barrel. Action Screw Centres measure approx. 7 5/16” (185mm).
If your rifle measures the same it will drop straight in, tighten up and be ready to shoot.
I will also have an Original Howa Hinged Floorplate Trigger guard and magazine. OR their own after-market detachable model upgrade option. Happy to sort a deal if needed.
