VARIOUS THREAD OPTIONS AVAILABLE. These Sound moderators come with an oversize thread ready to take the insert to suit your rifle. NO, NOT designed to interchange though. Once the insert is fitted it is meant to stay in place. Extending overall length of a rifle by approx. 4” (100mm) as most Sleeve Over designed options do. Dimensions are 7 ¼” by just under 2” diameter (183mm x 50mm) with a total weight of approx. 9 ¼ oz (260g). as such one of the lightest options available.
These will do any calibre up to (8.2mm) so basically any .30 calibre and even slightly bigger. Yes, a slightly bigger bore than actually required for the likes of a .223 etc. but for the small additional noise that escapes from the front NOT worth bothering about in most, if not all scenarios.

ANY and ALL Pre-used Sound Moderators I have should offer up perfectly acceptable performances. Certainly comparable to the equivalent model brand new. Given they are very likely to already be ‘carbonised’ internally there is every chance they will actually increase effectiveness. As with anything not brand new there is a chance they may well not last as long. However this IS reflected in the price. In reality, unless you are regularly spending hours on a range, there should be way over enough ‘life’ still there for the average shot.
The ONLY way to get maximum longevity is to dig that bit deeper and buy new. Happy to order those in where needed so just ask if you prefer.
