Description

BSA WAR OFFICE 22 RIMFIRE BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

Stunning condition and example of a BSA .220 Long (.22LR) War Office Pattern Military Training Rifle from 1907. FULLY detailed with
Made by The Birmingham Small Arms Co Ltd. Birmingham. Cartridge .220 Long Rifle. Min. Rifle with a Crown then W. O. Patt. R1475418. Serial number is then to L/H at rear of barrel and the front of the action (in Iine). The bolt is stamped Pat.14373/07.

The front bead site has a pivoting, turn down shroud. The rear adjustable is graduated with 25 | 50 | 100 | 150 | 200 yard possitions on an easy slide. It also features windage adjustment with original site protector still fitted too.
The stock is actually pushing for the prettiest I have seen fitted to one of these training rifles. I do have another similar rifle in stock which is also a very bonny little GUN. This stock is still to original spec and has a great grain pattern along with a full length ‘Tiger stripe’! Original brass butt plate with oil bottle hinged door. You can even have a bottle too ….just remind me to include one.
Superb condition inside and out. This will make a great addition for any collector. Or just to use to bring back memories or in vintage competition etc.

An absolute CRACKER. Don’t quite know why two of these should turn up at the same time. Especially in the condition they both are and as pretty but they have and I am not complaining!
