An EARLY example of a Breda Altair 12g Semi-Automatic Shotgun from Breda in Italy. These guns are FAR from inexpensive for new examples today and thankfully once again available in the UK again. Deservedly so if they are even close to the build quality, reliability and manage to retain the reputation these guns enjoyed.
24 ½” (622mm) bare length Multi Choke Barrel with 2 ¾” (70mm) Chambers and a ¼” (6mm) Ventilated rib. All of these guns I have come with a single choke in your choice (provided I have one in stock). I CAN supply additional as well as complete sets at additional cost. This is pictured with Cyl. / Quarter and adds approx. ¾” (20mm to the O/A length. Traditionally the tighter the restriction the longer the choke tube.
Fully Scroll Engraved Alloy Action with a cross bolt safety set to the rear of the trigger guard. A Well Figured Stock and Forend with a trigger pull at 14 1/8” (358mm) brings the gun in at a straight 45” (1143mm) long. Weight tip in a straight 7 Lbs (3.166 Kg). The usual sling swivel attachments and Breda Embossed original butt plate still in place. Generally excellent condition right through. A couple of minor blemishes but minimal in reality.
