EXTREMELY RARE AND MUCH SOUGHT AFTER PIECE.

ORIGINAL BERETTA DIOPTRE REAR SITE TO FIT ONTO THEIR .22 RIM FIRE ‘OLYMPIA’ RIFLES. THE RIFLES THEMSELVES ARE SOMETHING OF A NOVELTY HAVING THE OPTION TO USE AS A SINGLE SHOT BOLT ACTION, RELOADING LIKE ANY OTHER BY CYCLING THE BOLT OR YOU CAN LEAVE THE BOLT HANDLE UP TO ALLOW IT TO SLIDE FREELY BACK AND FORTH AND OPERATE AS A SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE TOO.
THE SITE IS STAMPED UP WITH BERETTA AND FITS TO THE REAR ACTION TANG FOUND ON THESE RIFLES. NO DOUBT IT WOULD WORK EQUALLY AS WELL ON OTHER SIMILAR TYPE / SHAPED GUNS BUT IDEALLY IT WANTS TO BE MARRIED TO AN ORIGINAL BERETTA RIFLE. THE BRACKET DOES HAVE SLIGHT DAMAGE AS SEEN ON THE IMAGE/S BUT THIS DOES NOT INTERFERE OR STOP FUNCTION IN ANY WAY. IT HAS A QUICK DETACHABLE LEVER AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL EYE CUP AS SHOWN.

Where I have MULTIPLE EXAMPLES of the same item in stock it is ‘First come First served’. As in first to buy gets the best conditioned piece. ALL WILL be in working order unless specified. The only REAL difference being cosmetic / aesthetics. Anything beyond ‘half way reasonable’ and I WILL discuss before accepting payment.
They generally go nowhere even close to covering the time, effort and expenses involved. (The main reason you see very few, if any, other dealers bothering with things like this).
I often say there are far too many places selling guns and not enough GUN SHOPS. I stand by that statement. Listing things like this should convey I do this for the love of the sport and to HELP customers. I DO also expect to see a small return for the effort.
Prices not only reflect the condition of each item, good or not so good (in the odd case). They also reflect the rarity and WORK involved. I consider them all excellent value for what they are.
All I ask is that you bear these few factors in mind BEFORE asking about ‘best prices’ or discounts etc.
MY ‘BEST’ prices would be PLUS an additional £1000 AND MORE so think before you ask!
Also please note that when I detail a measurement they are as close I can reasonably tell. Dovetails are measured at their WIDEST point.
