Standard format AYA 12g Side by Side Boxlock Ejector Shotgun. The 28” (712mm) have fixed choke barrels at Improved and Full. The rib is a plain sunken 1/4″ (6mm) with single front sight bead. The action is bright finished and lightly border engraved. A nicely figured, light (ish) 14 ¼” (368mm) pull stock is also fitted with an, as yet, blank escutcheon. Generally in pretty decent condition throughout.
NOW, to TRY and help speed up availability I WILL also suggest that YOU pass on details to everyone you know who shoots. Then ALL of us start to ask whoever we buy from why they are not DEMANDING cartridges made in this material? Basically VOTE with your WALLET.
YES, it will take a little time for everything to filter through but patience IS a virtue. It also allows everyone who wants to keep hold of their ‘old favourite’ for the rest of their lives. Even pass it on to the next generation and hopefully beyond!

Action is still nice and tight and the bores are nice and clean. Standard specification easily removable striker disc plates to the face, as found on all AYA shotguns. Just a sign of a half decent quality gun. The trigger guard and tang strap, along with the bottom action plate were originally black finished but this is now worn, more from being carried around in hand than being shot. This could be a nice little ‘project’ gun for someone to ‘tinker on with’ out of season. Not a great deal to do to see BIG improvements to the overall appearance ready for ‘official’ days or just a great light weight gun as it is for more informal days / hide shooting etc.
