A CLASSIC Model 1807 Bolt Action .22 Rimfire Target Rifle from Anschutz, Germany. Production stamps put this gun to a 1982 production. Anyone born then (42 years old now) and this will be a nice consideration each and every time its used. You can grow old ‘together’ and see which stands the test of time better. Its NOT a lot of money. Especially for a rifle that will very likely still be more capable than the average shot 50 years from now. For its time here to date its also still in relatively TIDY condition.
26” (660mm) Heavy Weight Target Barrel. A 13” (330mm) Trigger Pull with approx. ½” (12mm) +/- Adjustment on the Blade itself. The trigger of Match Grade Target Quality and all Full Adjustable for pull weight as well as release. Overall the rifle comes in at 34 3/8” (1100mm) and a bare weight of 9 lbs 11 oz (4.391 Kg).
Stock is a Dark Stained Beech with Stipple finish to all grip areas and Stained Black. A Matching Black Synthetic Height and Twist Adjustable Cheek Rest. The Butt Plate following the curve on its spacer piece to help fit into the shoulder regardless of position. Certainly a lot better than a standard vertical slide etc. Cut Away Thumb Rest Recess and Right Hand Palm Swell for Positive grip and positioning on the Trigger. Ventilated Forend which also features the usual Full Length Flush Inlet Accessory Rail.
Action top factory dovetailed ready for a matching Dioptre Target Sight OR scope rings. The usual cocking indicator positioned to the rear of the bolt too. A Nice enough rifle for what it is and, as said, little doubt Seriously Accurate.
