SUPERB EARLY example of this CLASSIC .22 BRNO Model 2 Bolt Action Rifle. Date stamped to a production year of 1956 so almost eligible to start and collect a state pension!
I have quite a few of these rifles in stock at any point in time. They all make great budget end sporting guns. Just as accurate as a modern day counterpart and still with a lifetime and more shooting still in them. I think my own dates back to the 70’s!
This is a particularly bonny stocked example with a pull at 13 ¾” (350mm) with some EXCELLENT ‘Tiger Stripe’ Highlights. A little time and effort could easily bring them out to produce a stunning little rifle. OR just leave as it is and simply enjoy it.
Minimal signs of use with only very light marks anywhere on the gun anyway. The steel butt plate is actually an after-market addition but has been very well done and very neat.
Being a traditional .22 LR (LONG RIFLE) this comes with its original and traditional FULL length 25” barrel. (Now threaded ½” to take a sound moderator). I did have a customer searching for a great OLD example of this classic rifle. Whilst he did not really want it threaded a neat cap would easily blend this back almost unnoticeable. For any ‘purist’ out there I will also have a set of original open sights that could be fitted too. (Price to be agreed for whatever required). Metal work is more than good enough to leave as it is. The rifle comes with a brand new magazine but I might have an original, older example from my own ‘collection’. 6 Lbs 11 oz. (3 Kg)
