SAKO .220 RUSSIAN A1 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.
NOW SOLD. THIS IS ACTUALLY SHOWING IN THE ARCHIVES SECTION OF THE WEB SITE.
.220 ‘Russian’. This is on an A1 action so dates to 1979 / 80 !
Sako do not actually list this as a standard caliber in any of the models. That is EVER! It would appear to be a ‘ONE OFF’ rifle made specially at the time.
Barrel is an original and stamped SAKO Cal.220 to the top with .220 RUS to the left side and Made in Finland etc.
AS SUCH CERTAINLY A COLLECTORS PIECE. ( I don’t mind if this doesn’t sell as I’me happy to keep a 1 off for my own ‘ collection ‘ ! )
In EXCELLENT condition considering its age, showing light use but still retaining great colour to the metal work and little signs of much to the woodwork either.
I do keep turning these rifles up !… and this is certainly a ‘KEEPER’.
