I have the exact same rifle in 7mm Rem Mag that came in to stock the same week. Though not from the same man. These are well made rifles with Deep Lustrous Blueing to the metal work and Good Quality Walnut stocks.
This comes with a 23 5/8” (600mm) barrel still retaining the original, fully adjustable iron or open sights. Length of pull is at 14 ½” (368mm) and the stock is a Semi-Hogs Back form with Bavarian Style Cheek piece.
But as with so many ‘continental’ guns like this they work equally well off either shoulder. I will have to check the action screws spacings on both rifles. It may well be possible to offer a swap over of stocks if the 7mm sells first etc. It also benefits from Nice, Light Tiger Stripe Highlights along the full length. As well as the Skip or Fox Cut Chequering with Rosewood Schnabel For end and Grip cap. A feature I personally think always gives a gun that look of ‘that little bit extra’.
The full-length Jewelled Extractor Claw also matches the Bolt release catch. Top tang mounted Safety AGAIN lends itself to shooting from either shoulder and, as such Ambidextrous.
Generally, in very good to excellent condition for a pre used rifle with only a couple of small blemishes throughout.
