WINCHESTER MODEL 94AE .30-30 CALIBRE UNDERLEVER RIFLE.
Basically a BRAND NEW .30-30 Calibre Model 94AE Underlever Winchester Rifle without its original box or paperwork. I doubt VERY much this rifle has actually even been fired since leaving the factory. It IS THAT CLEAN.
20” (508mm) barrel retaining the original Open ‘V’ sights and Front Bead. A 13 5/8” (345mm) pull brings the overall length to a Very Compact 38” (965mm) and bare weight at 6 Lbs 5 oz (2.869 Kg).
This also features the Angled Ejector Port so easier to cycle rounds / eject cases when a scope is fitted. The top of the action IS pre-drilled ready to accept suitable bases too.
The rifle is also an AMERICAN MADE example and not the more modern Japanese contract. Apparently dating back to the early 80’s this is in REMARKABLE condition. It CERTAINLY qualifies as one for my ‘Sleeper’ category guns I enjoy bringing back to the market so much.
Safety is positioned to the top tang similar to a shotgun. The hammer pre-drilled to accept a cocking piece extension arm for easier use with a scope. Ambidextrous stock and realistic use too other than the cases ejecting to the right.
The gun is stamped LP03 so not entirely sure if this was originally brought in from the US and put through London Proof in 2003?
Whatever the story this is a FINE rifle and, as said, in as Brand New Condition.
