Older and much sought after Tikka .243 Model M595 Bolt Action Rifle. 22 ½” (565mm) Barrel with 14” (355mm) Trigger Pull Stock. Overall length is 42 ¼” (1073mm) with a bare weight of 7 Lbs 11 oz (3.484 Kg).
A VERY Clean example with some Very Nice Grain Pattern and Raised Cheek Rest. Chequering is still sharp though there are a couple of small patches of light damage. Mainly to the left hand panel on the forend. Its not that much and otherwise generally Very Good Condition. Barrel is already screw cut in standard ½” x 20 UNF, ready to fit a sound moderator of choice. PLENTY of those in stock too, new and pre-used. Detachable Vertical Stack Magazine and stock is finished with a Rosewood Forend Tip and Pistol Grip Cap. As such the Deluxe version back in its day.
I used to own a very similar example in .25-06 many years ago which I always did regret parting with. Just GREAT ‘does what it says on the box’ rifles that have a well-deserved reputation.
