.22 WMR Winchester Magnum Rimfire M77/22 ‘All Weather’ Bolt Action Rifle from Ruger. Stainless Steel Barrel, Action and Bolt set into a Black and Green Skeleton Style Rigid Synthetic Stock.
20” (508mm) Barrel. 13 ¾ (350mm) Stock. Together giving an overall length of a reasonably compact 39 ¼” (997mm). Bare rifle as is weighs in at a VERY Light Weight 5 Lbs 12 oz (2.605 Kg).
Personally I MUCH prefer these older style stocks. WAY better than the hollow ‘numb’ replacements that follow. Not sure if this was actually a Limited Edition example with the Dark Green Textured Inlet Grip Areas. They are usually just plain black throughout.
The usual Super Reliable Flush Fitting, Profile Contour Matching 10 round Detachable Rotary Operating Magazine. Nothing to spoil what I consider to be a Very Nice looking Rifle. Personally I am and always will be a BIG fan of the calibre. I have had one in my own cabinet for many years and will continue to do so.
Ballistically around the same velocity and energy 100 yards down range as a standard .22 Rim Fire has at the muzzle. THINK about that for a few seconds. Think what would stand up to a ‘little’ .22 at POINT BLANK Range. NOT a lot. A .22 WMR has THAT capability still when its 100 yards away. Ridiculously quiet in comparison to full bores. Zero Recoil compared to full bores. Ammunition is also a LOY less money per round too.
Generally EXCELLENT Condition throughout too.
