Remington Model 700 BDL Laminate Stock Varmint / Target .223 Bolt Action Rifle. LONG Range 26” (660mm) Barrel. Pre-screw cut to a standard ½” x 20 Tpi UNF with more than enough Sound Moderators generally in stock to choose from. Stock Pull measures to 13 ¾” (350mm) and the Rifle  Overall finishes 45 7/8” (1165mm) and 9 lbs 12 ½ oz. (4.442 Kg).

This SHOULD prove to be any foxes WORST NIGHTMARE. Also extremely troubling for any of the smaller calibre legal deer species and out to way past SENSIBLE ranges. As detailed this has the LONG Heavy Weight Varmint / Target Barrel fitted with Standard Blued finish. Set into a Brown Laminate Stock and virtually mark and blemish free Inside or Out. The only real comment I can pass is to detail light rubbing from a sound moderator rear bushing. Quite WHY PILLOCKS do not (as instructions detail) give these sufficient clearance is beyond me. Its nothing much but unfortunately is there so ‘Thank you PILLOCK’! Mildly annoying than anything else.

The Bolt Knob shows near zero wear or use. The shaft still sports the bulk of its original Engine Turned Finish. The Gun Blacking to the head also near pristine. With a matching condition trigger it all points to a minimally used rifle to date.

Hinged 4 (possibly 5, I will have to check) round magazine so impossible to lose too.

There are also a few light marks to the varnish finish between the recoil pad and rear sling stud. Obviously from a crappy sling fitting. For general overall condition just check the condition of the Magazine plate and trigger guard etc. Its all ‘As New’ other than these few VERY minor details listed. If it was car details would read as with delivery mileage and a very light test drive. No more.
