A Great Round and THE favourite Calibre over that BIG puddle they call the Atlantic in the USA. In basic terms it’s a ‘Big Brother’ to a more standard .308 over here.
Also, (in MY opinion) one of THE FINEST production rifles of this century and very likely EVER. Design and ease of function is SUPERB. Build Quality to match and Equally as Accurate. Quite WHY they did not prove MASSIVELY more popular always surprised me. Certainly a lot will have been to do with on line comments about overall weight but they are NOT excessive. That said, the fairies out there who cannot manage maybe an extra 16 oz to lift from their car. Walk 50 yards and climb a high seat and then sit for 4 hours with a flask and picnic. For THOSE BOYS then YES. Far too much of a rifle to handle!
